Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
